Before you upload customer data, you should know exactly where it goes. The short version: your list is used to verify your list, and nothing else.

Verification checks the domain and the mail server without delivering a message, so nobody on your list is contacted.
Kept only for you

Is this a bulk email checker or a bulk email validator?
Both. A bulk email checker, a bulk email validator and a bulk email verifier are three names for the same job: take a list, test every address, and report which ones can receive mail. One CSV upload returns a score, a state (Deliverable, Risky, Not Deliverable or Unknown), a reason, and role, disposable and catch-all flags for every row.
How many emails can I verify in bulk at once?
Any list that fits in one CSV file of up to 50 MB with a header row. How many rows that is depends on how many other columns the file carries; a file with only an email column holds far more rows than a full CRM export. Bigger lists can be split into several uploads. Each email uses one credit.
Do you work with agencies and large or recurring lists?
Yes. Each upload is its own job with its own results, so client lists stay separate, and one credit balance covers bulk uploads and the API. Large or urgent jobs can be given priority processing speed on request. For large or recurring volume, use the contact form or write to info@validemail.net and a person replies.
What CSV format should I upload?
Upload a CSV up to 50 MB with a header row. Name the email column “email” for the clearest detection. A sample file is available above.
Are my original columns preserved?
Yes. Your contact and enrichment fields remain attached to each row, with verification fields added to the result.
What does Unknown mean?
Unknown means the mailbox did not produce a definitive answer. PENDING and GREYLISTED rows can be re-verified automatically and should not be treated as permanent invalid addresses.
Can I download while re-verification continues?
Yes. Results become downloadable after the main verification phase, while delayed rows continue refining in the background.
How are catch-all addresses handled?
Supported Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 catch-all domains can receive a mailbox-level existence check. When no definitive answer is available, the result remains a conservative catch-all.
Which download options are available?
Choose all emails, maximum deliverability (score 80+), maximum reach (score 60+), or undeliverable results.
Can I manage or delete lists?
Yes. Signed-in users can cancel running work and manage eligible uploaded or completed jobs from the dashboard.
Does verification send an email?
No. ValidEmail checks deliverability signals without sending a message to the address.
