What cleaning finds
Every row is checked and labelled. Nothing is silently dropped: the label tells you why an address should go, or why it deserves a second look.

State: Not DeliverableScore 0Throwaway addresses from temporary-mail services. They often pass a form but stop working within hours or days.
Disposable: YesShared inboxes such as info@, sales@ or support@. They can be real, but they rarely belong to the person you meant to reach.
Role: YesDomains that accept any address. On supported Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 domains the mailbox itself is checked; otherwise the row stays flagged as catch-all.
Accept All: YesGreylisting and slow servers. These rows stay Unknown and are checked again in the background instead of being thrown away as invalid.
State: UnknownReason: GREYLISTEDThe mailbox exists and accepts mail. These rows go straight into the clean list.
State: DeliverableScore 80–100What “clean” means in the export
The score turns into a send list with one choice at download time. Your original columns come with every option.
Only addresses with the highest delivery confidence. The safest choice for a cold or long-unmailed list.
Adds borderline addresses, such as many role addresses, for sends where reach matters more than a perfect bounce rate.
Just the addresses to remove, ready to import as a suppression or unsubscribe list in your email platform.
No spreadsheet work
Export the list from your email platform or CRM, clean it here, and import the result back.
A CSV up to 50 MB with a header row and an email column, straight from your email platform or CRM.
Confirm the detected email column, the number of rows and the credits it will use.
Watch the keep, review and remove totals update while every address is checked.
Export the clean list, the broader-reach list or the suppression list, with your columns intact.
Price by list size
Cleaning uses one credit per email. New accounts include free credits, and purchased credits do not expire.
Create a free account first: it includes free credits, so you can verify a sample before you pay.
Your data
Before you upload customer data, you should know exactly where it goes. The short version: your list is used to verify your list, and nothing else.
The addresses and columns in your file are processed to produce your results. They are not sold, rented or shared for marketing.
Verification checks the domain and the mail server without delivering a message, so nobody on your list is contacted.
Results stay in your account so you can download them again. Delete a list from your dashboard when you are done, and ask support if you want the file erased from our storage too.
Uploads and downloads travel over HTTPS and are visible only when you are signed in to your own account.
Card details are entered with PayPal, never on this site. Purchased credits do not expire.
Write to info@validemail.net or use the contact form. A person answers, not a bot.
Email list cleaning FAQ
Cleaning finds the addresses that would bounce or hurt a send: mailboxes and domains that do not exist, domains that no longer accept mail, and syntax errors. It also flags disposable inboxes, role addresses such as info@ and sales@, and catch-all domains, so you decide whether to keep them. Nothing is deleted from your file: every row gets a score and a state, and the export filter decides what goes into the clean list.
Choose the “Maximum deliverability” export (score 80 and above) for the cleanest send list, or “Maximum reach” (score 60 and above) to keep more borderline addresses. “Undeliverable” exports only the addresses to suppress, which is handy for updating your CRM or email platform.
It is built not to. When a mail server answers with a temporary delay, the address stays Unknown and is re-checked automatically instead of being marked invalid. On supported Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 catch-all domains the mailbox itself is checked when a definitive answer is available.
Yes. Your original columns (name, company, source, tags and so on) stay attached to every row, so the export can be imported back into Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot or any tool that accepts CSV.
Before a send to contacts you have not mailed for a while, after importing contacts from events or forms, and before moving a list to a new sending platform. Lists decay as people change jobs and mailboxes are closed, so older segments benefit most.
One credit per email, and purchased credits never expire. New accounts include free credits, so you can clean a sample of your list before buying. The calculator above shows the package for your list size.
No. ValidEmail checks deliverability signals with the mail server without delivering a message, so nobody on your list is contacted.
